Dr. Shuai Zhou to begin tenure-track Assistant Professor position at University of South Alabama

Dr. Zhou, a former Penn State graduate student and advisee of Dr. Chi, will join the University of South Alabama as a tenure-track Assistant Professor, beginning in August 2025. He is appointed in the Department of Sociology, Anthropology and Social Science, with a joint appointment in the Stokes School of Marine and Environmental Science. In this role, Dr. Zhou will continue his research on environmental migration, environmental health, and agri-food sustainability to promote human well-being and sustainable development.
