EDeN team members represent at the Indiana Sustainability and Resilience Conference

Published on

Drs. Chi and Gavenus represented the EDeN team at the Indiana Sustainability and Resilience Conference hosted by Indiana University's Environmental Resilience Institute on February 6th. ISRC connects climate leaders from across Indiana to the knowledge, tools, and resources that can accelerate climate action and resilience efforts. The conference brought together sustainability professionals, scholars, and climate advocates from across the state,  highlighting opportunities for collaboration on shared climate resilience goals. Dr. Chi shared research from the Arctic during a breakout session on Regional Climate Challenges, Dr. Gavenus shared later in the day during a session on Local and Societal Variations in Mitigation and Adaptation Strategies, and the full EDeN team helped prepare a poster showcasing the projects and approaches we take to pursuing research. It was an incredible opportunity to learn more about the important work happening across Indiana, the many people and entities leading the work, and the shared passion for realizing a sustainable future. Thank you to the organizers, other speakers, and attendees for a great conference!
