New article "RETRACE Project: How to Enhance Resilience to Climate Risks in Pacific and Arctic Indigenous Communities?"

Drs. Chi and Gavenus joined other members of the RETRACE team to coauthor a recent publication in Sustainable Development. The article calls for inclusive approaches for developing and implementing resilience strategies that center the lived realities of local communities. Working with communities in the Arctic and Pacific regions, the RETRACE project is learning from peoples and places with long histories of resilience to better meet their needs in developing and implementing strategies for withstanding and recovering from environmental shifts and hazards. The article introduces the theoretical positions of the project and defines the methodology we are undertaking.
